Seeks an Communication officer
Association of Business Women is seeking an Communication Officer. Communication officer will be responsible for overall all media and publicity related activities.
Key responsibilities:
- To carry out the organization of promotional activities and to monitor the progress of visibility activities
- To plan PR activities that will promote the implementation of the project and accomplished project results
- To ensure relevant and continuously available promotional materials for the project in Macedonian, and English language
- To ensure that the public and all beneficiaries and end users are ontime introduced and in time informed with the implementation of the project and its activities.
- To ensure timely and relevant flow of information and consultation to the appropriate entities regarding the project activities
- To ensure development of PR material for the project and distribution of developed PR material to the relevant entities
- To develop monthly PR material for the project implementation
- Regular update of the fb, Twitter an LinkedIn page with relevant information related to the project implementation
- Тo enable the project be widely present at digital, online and traditional media
- To share point enabling promotion of success stories, learning materials, organising feedback actions on web page
- To promote discussions for WE, podcasts of women entrepreneurs, ambassadors, and similar on web radio
- To disseminate video materials from events and campaigning activities, including interviews, testimonials and events’ highlights
- To share information and services at the proximity of the target groups, particularly suitable for reaching out and assisting women in remote areas on mobile app
- To create a six-monthly electronic project bulletin containing main results achieved in the covered period and its wide distribution to the target groups and different relevant stakeholders
- To organize press conferences whenever appropriate for marking project’s important milestones
- To submit quality reports for its work on monthly, semi-annual and annual level
- To develop semi-annual and annual reports with integrated information for the project
- To establish and maintain cooperation with all relevant subjects for the purposes of the project (institutions, local goverment, CSO organizations, schools, experts, educators etc.)
- To practice organizational/project policies
- To react in case of inappropriate/untimely implementation of the project activities as proposed with the plan
- To control that the all produced project documentation are accurate and according to the project plans.
- Regular submission of time sheets
- To give proposals and raise initiatives for better implementation of the project
- To take part in making decisions which are in the best interest of the project
- To ensure adequate implementation of EU visibility manual
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in civil society and/or project management (required)
- Higher education will be considered an advantage (desirable)
